Willows whiten, aspens quiver...and a bit of music

Welcome to Friday!

Just a short list this week. As always, I hope that you find at least one thing of interest to you.

May you enjoy your weekend and may it be full of rest or fun or even both!

  1. What Remains Podcast, I am thoroughly enjoying this podcast presented by Amanda Lamb a veteran true-crime journalist in Raleigh, North Carolina. In What Remains, true crime meets forensic science. The podcast is so well done, with the upmost respect for the lives of those they are discussing. Nothing is ever for “shock sake” nor is anything made light of and it isn’t gory.

  2. Something I enjoy doing often is hunting Zillow for beautiful houses, specifically in a handful of towns that I love. I found this house last night and it’s so beautiful. I love the architecture of homes built during the 1940s and 1950s so this one is a dream.

  3. Friendships, the key to happiness - YouTube, “it’s never too late in life to find happiness, or best friends – if you put in the time.”

  4. Jeremy Loops - This Town ft. Ladysmith Black Mambazo - YouTube, one of my new favorite songs and music videos.

  5. Jeremy Loops - 'Til I Found You - YouTube, this one has been on repeat.

  6. The Lady of Shalott! - YouTube, one of my favorite poems read by Malcolm Guite. Many thanks to L.M. Montgomery who fostered my love for Tennyson. And if you’d like to hear it in song form, here is The Lady Of Shalott - YouTube by Loreena McKennitt

  7. SWEET CORN – Craize Snacks (gocraize.com), a bit random but these are such good snacks! And they come in a multitude of different flavors.
